Preparation: The most important element of an exterior paint job is PREPARATION. The substrate should be thoroughly cleaned in order to remove any dirt, mildew, or loose paint. This will provide a clean, manageable surface for the paint to stick to. Removing Loose Paint: We remove any loose paint by scraping. Sanding: We sand scraped areas to ensure complete removal of loose paint and an appropriate surface for new paint to stick to. Priming: We prime all bare wood with a quality primer Caulking: We caulk all gaps in the wood Paint: One or two coats of premium finish paint is applied.
